Congratulations! Take a deep breath. Have some bubbly. Get ready to enjoy the ride.
The moment you say yes, it's like you flip a switch into bride/groom mode. If you're like me, you probably already had a secret mood board (or seven) for your someday. Now that someday is a reality, you're instantly planning. You're making lists. You're brainstorming.
This. Is. Not. A. Drill.
Your mind flutters through so many options. What colors do you want? What kind of wedding? How many people? How can you save money? Are there DIY options, whether or not you consider yourself a creative person? My mind fluttered too, and I, along with my Mom, ultimately DIYed the majority of my wedding and events leading up to it. Creating personal pieces made everything even more special.
In my case, I've been using a hot glue gun since age three— there was never a question as to whether or not I would DIY everything I possibly could. No matter your level of experience, you can learn how to personalize your big day, too.
This blog will introduce you to some of my favorite craft tools, pro tips, everyday kitchen items you can use to craft, and ways to make your wedding truly yours--from "YES" to "I DO"!
Happy crafting!
